In today’s post I will show you how to make quick and easy Frozen Yogurt at home, without an ice cream maker or machine. Have fun cooking!
Homemade: Homemade Frozen Yogurt

Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 grams of plain yogurt (creamy stirred)
- 200 grams of Greek cream yogurt
- ½ cup of cream
- 100 grams of powdered sugar
- ½ lime (organic)
- 4 teaspoons of sugar pearls or other toppings of your choice
Required kitchen gadgets, helper & preparations:
- Mixing bowl
- Dough scraper
- Mixer
- Blender
- Grater
- High vessel to mix the yogurt
- Freezer
- Possibly a piping bag with a large nozzle
- Possibly sundaes
Instructions for the Homemade Frozen Yogurt:
Pour ½ cup of cream into a high vessel…
…and beat with a mixer…
…until semi-stiff…
…Give 200 grams of Greek cream yogurt…
…400 grams of plain yogurt…
…& 100 grams of powdered sugar into a mixing bowl…
…also add the zests of ½ lime using a grater…
…and the juice of ½ lime…
…& stir with a dough scraper or whisk until smooth…
…now add the semi-stiff cream…
…and fold in carefully…
…now either give the yogurt mass in an ice machine or fill in a high (suitable for the freezer) vessel and let freeze for 2 hours…
…after 2 hours stir with a spoon first…
…then mix the yogurt mass with a hand blender until smooth, next give the vessel back to the freezer for another 2 hours…
…get the vessel out of the freezer and again stir with a spoon first…
…& mix up the frozen yogurt with a hand blender, then store the vessel for a further 2 hours in the freezer and repeat the previous two steps as many times…
…until the yogurt mass is creamy frozen (something like soft ice cream)…
…now divide the yogurt mass into portions either with a spoon or decant into a piping bag with a large nozzle…
…and squirt the frozen yogurt decoratively in a cup…
…garnish with a few sugar pearls & serve immediately.
