In today’s post I will show you how to cook quick and easy Pumkin Fries at home. Have fun cooking!
Homemade: Homemade Pumpkin Fries

Ingredients for 2 sheets Pumpkin Fries:
- ½ butternut pumpkin (the small & seedless part)
- 2 – 3 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 2 – 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 teaspoosn of paprika powder
- ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
Required kitchen gadgets, helper & preparations:
- Sharp knife
- Mixing bowl
- Baking sheet + parchment paper
Instructions for the Homemade Pumpkin Fries:
Halve the butternut pumpkin between the small & thick part/transition (for the pumpkin fries we only need the small & seedless part of the pumpkin)…
…next cut off the cap with the stalk…
…then thinly cut down the skin with a sharp knife…
…now cut the peeled pumpkin into plates with a thickness of about 1 centimeter…
…& finally cut the pumpkin plates into thin sticks…
…give the pumpkin sticks along with 2 – 3 tablespoons of cornstarch into a mixing bowl…
…and toss vigorously…
…until all the pumpkin sticks are coated with a light cornstarch film…
…next add about 2 – 3 tablespoons of olive oil…
…2 teaspoons of paprika powder…
…& ½ teaspoon of garlic powder (you can also use other spices here)…
…again toss vigorously until all spices are distributed evenly…
…place all pumpkin sticks with plenty of space between each other on a lined baking tray & bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes…
…get the baking tray out of the oven after 20 minutes, turn each stick once and bake for another 15 – 20 minutes until the desired browning level…
…serve the fries immediatelly.
